MANKATO, Minn. – With exterior construction completed, downtown Mankato now has a new look.
Ridley has officially moved into the Ridley Building and Northwestern is finalizing its location, with a move–in date scheduled for the first of the year.
The apartments known as the Residences of 518 are also full, with all 20 apartments rented out.
There’s retail space available beneath the apartments, but Tailwind hints a national restaurant franchise may be moving in.
Reggie Reed, the Tailwind Group Director of Operations, says, “We’re all excited for everything that’s happened to date and for the community and the city to be able to come to our assistance and support us. We’re very happy with that, appreciative, and we’re just looking forward to it being complete.”
Tailwind has also turned the old fire station into a Little Stars Daycare and expects more construction in the future.
